Drowsy Chaperone

The Drowsy Chaperone was a play, set in the 1920s, showcasing the power music had in guiding us through the worlds of song. After doing research, me and other students went on call with the director of the play to learn more about the Drowsy Chaperone and her vision for this poster. An incredibly important decision that represented how she wanted the viewer to enter this showing. That being in a fun way, using an art deco style popular in the time period, that reflected the main character and his use of the turntable to bring the show to life!

From an array of posters my class had provided, my poster was chosen by the director to be displayed on posters around the school and online through web advertisements. This allowed me to work closely with the director and her assistant in making prompt changes, necessary for the advertisements to follow all rules for showing this play.
